IT Support Technician

Job Overview

  • ­­­Provide the first point of contact for phone, email and remote support to diagnose and resolve IT issues
  • Update users on a regular basis via phone and email
  • Become the key contact and responder for various internal facilities (VOIP, Printers, Mobiles etc.) and schedule support calls with service providers
  • Compliment and enhance the existing support agreement with our IT integration partner
  • Schedule and assist external support engineers
  • Logging tickets and keeping records of user queries
  • Monitoring logs to identify underlying problems
  • Communicate activities updates to IT department
  • Support the department with administrative tasks
  • Day-to-Day Administration/Maintenance of:

o Active Directory objects

o User Desktop Support

o Backups

o User and System Audits

o Anti-Virus and OS updates

o Microsoft365/Office365 accounts

o Cloud solutions

· Troubleshooting of desktop/server hardware and software related problems

· Writing documentation, including technical procedural documentation

· Involvement in IT Procurement and Introducing new initiatives

· Build, install, monitor & maintain server environments

· Participating in regular Business Continuity tests

· Delivery of User Access Reviews

· Contributing to the development of IT Related project scoping and delivery

· Assistance in conducting and delivering audit reviews/guidelines

· Availability to work outside office hours when the need arises

· Other tasks as delegated by the IT department
