Role: IT Support Engineer

Location: Co. Westmeath

Salary: Neg (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Install Hardware / Software
  • Provide ticket resolution within agreed SLA's.
  • Proactively communicate with all end users and update helpdesk tracking software as necessary.
  • Monitor network performance and suggest improvements to decision makers
  • Create and Issue User profiles
  • Hardware procurement and asset management
  • Using knowledge of LAN and WAN to construct company networks
  • Collaborating with other support engineers to solve technical issues
  • Educating employees on hardware and software
  • Maintaining network security
  • Performing regular network maintenance
  • The role requires Out Of Hours Support from time to time
  • Ad hoc projects as required

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification (Software Engineering / Computer Sciences etc)
  • Min 4 years plus experience in a similar role
  • Valid CCNA certification
  • Familiar with ITIL best practices
  • Strong communication skills
