Inventory Controller- Cork

Job Overview

My Client, a leading Engineering Supplies company based in Co. Cork, is in need of an Inventory Controller to join their organization.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Inventory Controller who has good experience with Goods inwards, materials Management and ERP systems to join a growing and fast paced organization and grow on their career.

The duties for the Inventory Controller include but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring stock levels and issuing Purchase Orders to Suppliers
  • Following up on outstanding Purchase Orders as required
  • Managing customers consumable set up for multiple client's
  • Sourcing alternative suppliers and negotiating prices.
  • Processing sales orders and preparing items for shipping to customer.
  • Carry out cycle counts and investigating any discrepancies found.
  • Adjusting purchase and sales prices of products as required
  • Adding new items to company website.
  • Working in the Goods Inwards area when required.
  • Maintaining a neat and organised warehouse

The requirements for the desired Inventory Controller include:

  • Previous experience in a similar Inventory Control/ Materials Management role
  • Strong systems skills- previous ERP experience desired
  • Previous experience in an manufacturing/industrial environment and understanding of engineering parts strongly desired
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on team work
  • Hard working and reliable
