International Business Specialist (Contract)

Job Overview

On behalf of our client, a Pharmaceuticals company based in West Dublin we are recruiting an

International Business Specialist.

Reporting to the Senior Revenue Specialist, the International Business Specialist will play a key role in the International Business team - managing the company's portfolio of Intellectual Property for various products and territories globally.

As well as involvement in the day to day running of the company's IP licensing business, the role will also involve close integration with the Finance Department.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Preparing the company's monthly sales and marketing recharge reporting from SAP BPC.
  • Performing analytical reviews of Sales and Marketing costs and following up with affiliates on discrepancies and variances to budget.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors as required.
  • Collating affiliate to market sales for company products and territories.
  • Working with affiliates to develop and implement appropriate budget and forecasting templates on behalf of all EMEA Intellectual Property holders.
  • Collating annual sales and marketing plans from licensees, reviewing these and preparing approval request information slides in order to obtain board approval for such plans.
  • Actively participating in bi-annual meetings with the regional brand teams in order to gain an understanding of the performance, strategies and challenges faced by affiliates in each region.
  • Attending annual affiliate visits to gain further localised insights into performance and cost base.
  • Providing support as required for the Quality Management System and assisting in ensuring it is suitably implemented and maintained.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards associated with cGMP, ISO 14001, EMAS, Health & Safety Legislation and Environmental Legislation, as well as all site standards, policies and procedures.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Professional Finance Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with at least 5 years PQE.
  • Pharmaceutical sector experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure - multi-tasking and prioritising workload as required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to identify problems and recommend pragmatic solutions with minimal direction.
  • Strong SAP knowledge preferable.

Previous experience working within the Pharmaceutical sector is essential.
