Job Overview

FRS Recruitment are looking for an Installation/Manufacturing Operative for a wide range of Construction Projects with a large Irish Construction Contractor in Dublin City.

Purpose:

The Installation Operative will support the business by undertaking the refurbishment, fitting out and installation of hire and sales units and small projects.

Key skills & Duties:

  • Working independently or as part of a team, in the maintenance, modification, (fit out, carpentry and plumbing) installation and removal of units throughout Ireland
  • Working within the factory or on site, undertaking duties such as carpentry, fit out and plumbing of hire and sales units and small projects
  • Following the relevant Health & Safety guidance and RAMS and documentation required for building installation
  • Manage your own site safety and be a part of the safety of everybody else on site completing the site installation
  • Work in conjunction with specialist sub-contractors, required to complete the project in hand.
  • Work in accordance with on-site RAMS produced, to ensuring all on-site risks have been identified and stringent control measures have been put into place and communicated to you.
  • Work in accordance with the methodology of the installation that has been communicated to all staff and clients before the work commences.
  • Comply with any additional site safety requirement.
  • Keep the site installation work area clean and tidy at all times.

Requirements:

Qualifications or experience:

  • Multi-trade experience ideally including joinery work, metal work, carpentry work and slinger /banksman experience
  • 2-3 years similar experience with a strong knowledge of onsite safety
  • Safe pass
  • Manual Handling
  • CSCS
  • Full drivers licence
  • Flexibility around working hours
  • Forklift truck operator(desirable)
