Inside Sales Executive - Agri

Job Overview

FRS Recruitment are seeking to fill the position of 'Inside Sales Executive' for a leading Irish Animal Healthcare company. This is a full-time permanent role based in Dublin West and may suit somebody living in County Dublin or surrounding Counties. The ideal candidate will have either an Animal Healthcare, Veterinary or Agri Background.

General understanding/interest in Agricultural and Veterinary Industries is of utmost importance.

Office based role: Onside, Mon - Fri normal office hours

Duties

  • Inside sales will need to work closely with the support staff at HQ, sales management team, other territory managers and attend regular sales meetings/training events.
  • Ability to analyse client accounts using previous sales and market information to plan appropriate client interactions on a regular basis. Will involve segmentation of key accounts.
  • Regular contact with customer base through outbound calls, electronic communication to maintain and develop these relationships appropriately.
  • Development and nurturing of Business plans for key customers and planning for the following year
  • Will involve upselling and cross selling techniques as well as understanding seasonality of some of the portfolio with forward planning in mind.
  • Proficient in excel (pivot tables), word, PowerPoint. Utilising SAP System, and Hubspot for marketing/customer analysis along with CRM.
  • Processing orders through to warehouse as well as following up on queries from customers on products/pricing/invoices/statements
  • Debtor control on a weekly basis
  • Ensuring delivery for orders processed and following up with courier service if there are any issues.
  • Liaising with vet tech to arrange further training for key customers
  • Liaising with nutritionist for assistance with nutrition queries for vets/trade
  • Roll out of new products or campaigns for key areas and use of special deals/offers where appropriate
  • Contacting customers regarding relevant training opportunities/webinars/in person training offering support as the contact for the company
  • Taking on any new customers and following up on general queries
  • International queries and dealing with key accounts on international side
  • Attendance of conferences/events
  • Training will be ongoing as the market is ever evolving.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Veterinary/Animal Health or Agri
  • Excellent communication skills over the phone and F2F
  • Excellent IT/Admin skills
  • Analytical Thinking

Remuneration

Salary is between 30,000 - 40,000 per annum DOE
