Location: North Cork Region, office based (May also suit candidates within a commutable distance of boarding counties e.g. Kerry, Limerick, South Tipp etc)

Summary of the role

The Inside Sales Business Manager will be responsible for building an effective team of inside sales professional to support the growth across key customer segments.

You will also liaise across field and office teams to ensure the highest level of sales performance & customer experience is achieved. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Commercial and will be a valued member of the senior management team within the Business.

Responsibilities

  • Sales - Involved in meeting & exceeding targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Achieve sales targets in conjunction with field sales teams -Sales to budget aligned to seasonal campaigns led by Inside Sales for key product ranges.
  • Analyse and evaluate sales trends across Agri operations to identify gaps and potential for new business sales
  • Proactively pursue all opportunities to sell farm inputs by ensuring that all existing and potential customers are contacted regularly in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate in the development of strategies for the further expansion of sales of the widest possible range of company products to all existing and potential customers which form part of the annual budgeting process
  • Manage customer accounts to ensure that they are kept up to date in accordance with the Business credit policy and utilise the most efficient system of accounts payment. Understand best practice and strive for same.
  • Lead and support the ongoing implementation, reporting, technical development, and training of CRM functionality across all the wider field and Inside Sales team
  • Develop proficiency in campaign management and reporting including market share within team and across teams
  • Proactively lead and manage the customer feedback process across the business
  • Ensure all CRM activities are prioritised, co- ordinated and tracked across teams

The Candidate

  • An excellent understanding (or background) in the Agri/Farming industry is essential
  • Ideally five years of high performance and target achievement in a structured sales & customer care environment - CRM, face to face, online and via phone.
  • Experience with managing teams in a target & KPI driven, commercial business environment
  • IT proficient and skilled in the use of Microsoft office. POS systems and ability to use business analytic tools
  • Ability to use, develop & train CRM dashboards and reporting
  • Customer Focused - delivering excellence in customer service & governance.
