Infrastructure Project Manager

Partnering with one of Ireland's leading logistics and distribution solutions providers, FRS is now accepting applications from experienced and technical IT Project Managers. Our client is looking to hire a positive, proactive IT project manager to oversee all IT projects, taking ownership of all the day-to-day IT quotes. The role of the Infrastructure Project Manager will be positioning the company to grow, explore exiting customer opportunities, and using IT systems to standardise and modernise all IT operations. This role is based in Dublin and would suit those based in Dublin and the surrounding commuter connections.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements.
  • Outlining, defining, and initiating the project.
  • Implementing document control policies and documentation templates.
  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of assigned component projects.
  • Evaluating standards of component products.
  • Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary.
  • Monitoring expenditures in accordance with the budget.
  • Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems.
  • Ensuring project complies with best practices, SOPs and other policies.
  • Data compliance and server audits (version control etc.)
  • Staff TMS management and reporting

Requirements:

  • Project management or IT Systems degree or similar certifications.
  • 3+ years of experience in a project management role.
  • Understanding of Ticketing and Alert Management Systems.
  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Outstanding leadership, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Management of IT staff resources allocated to projects
  • Leading IT projects in an operational environment and efficient allocation of IT team's time.

Management or IT systems degree preferred and experience or knowledge of Logistics, Warehouse Management & Customs Bond industry would be an advantage.
