Role Description:

FRS Network are currently recruiting for a high calibre HR Business Partner to join our growing team, in a fast-paced dynamic working environment. Reporting to the Head of HR this role is responsible for the day-to-day management of HR operations partnering with business leaders, managers and employees across our businesses to implement systems, processes, and programs to enable our people to succeed.

Through growth and diversification FRS have expanded into to five distinct divisions intrinsically linked through the supply of expertly skilled people: Farm Services, Fencing, Recruitment, Herdwatch and Training, with a network of 20 offices nationwide and 20,000 customers.

Key Responsibilities

Typically, the candidate will be expected to undertake and drive the following duties:

  • Be the first point of contact across your area for people related matters, to provide expertise in Employee Engagement, Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, and People Analytics.
  • Develop strong relationships with line management to become a trusted advisor on all people related topics and HR related issues.
  • Coach, support and advise line management to ensure effective leadership of their people.
  • Collaborate with line managers to ensure compliance across all areas of HR in line with policies in such areas as, performance assessment, disciplinary and performance, addressing and managing any employee relations matters that arise to resolution.
  • Participate in the identification of future resource needs across your area working closely with the talent acquisition team to select and appoint new hires.
  • Oversee the recruitment strategy and processes, including advertising, references, garda / police clearances, contract of employment and effective probation management
  • Identify trends to support talent attraction, employee retention and career development to ensure continuity of service and reduce employee attrition.
  • Interpret and advise on employment legislation and support in the development of best practice policies & procedures including managing any Employee relations activities from start to finish.
  • Participate in and lead new HR initiatives & programs for their respective business areas
  • Maintain accurate HR records and files in line with requirements.
  • Any other duties which arise from time to time which require your involvement/ expertise.

The Candidate

  • At least 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar role.
  • CIPD accreditation or eligibility for CIPD accreditation
  • A third level qualification in Human Resources Management
  • Displays a high level of personal resilience and the ability to remain effective in a dynamic working environment.
  • Must have significant experience of employment relations and employment legislation
  • High energy individual who enjoys working across multiple locations.
  • Enthusiastic and ambitious with a strong work ethic and flexible work attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with ability to contribute both individually and as part of a team.
  • Efficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Full drivers' licence with access to a car.
