Job Summary

HR Administrator required for a global organisation based in their Head Office in Waterford. Fantastic opportunity for a HR graduate with 1 to 2 years HR experience to further their career, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations and ad hoc project work. Exposure and an opportunity to work closely with the Group HR team!

HR Administrator responsibilities:

  • Support the wider HR team through effective administrative HR activities such as on site recruitment, pre-employment checks, induction, contract preparation, absence management, discipline and grievance processes, employee engagement, communications, employee relations, and performance management
  • Assist with the recruitment of candidates from non-EU countries and the work permit process from start to finish including all administration around this process
  • In accordance with the current GDPR, ensure all personnel files and records are processed in a timely manner
  • Completion of documents required by Shared Services during the life-cycle of the employees
  • Responsible for conducting exit interviews and manage and monitor the data on labour turnover and stability at work
  • Generate and produce reports around long term absences, working time directives, employee turnover and annual leave
  • Assist in investigations and disciplinary meeting through ensuring accurate meeting notes are recorded and supporting the Line Managers to operate best practice standards
  • Continuously maintain and develop the relationships with Site Union representatives to improve and promote a positive employee relations culture
  • Assist with the graduate intake of trainees under the Company's annual Graduate Programme and ensure their development programmes are adhered to

About you

  • Third level qualification in HR or relevant discipline is desirable
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a HR administrative role or similar
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Ability to work with a diverse workforce population
  • Knowledge of a HR system such as CoreHR would be an advantage
