I am currently working with a Housing association in helping them recruit for a Contract housing officer role for 3 - 4 months. This organization been involved in social housing provision for some 25 years and currently own/manage some 700 properties across the country. It provides housing management and tenant support systems to projects in twenty-six locations across and eleven local authority jurisdictions. Despite the Pandemic the Association is flourishing and on-boarded several staff during the last year. So, the future is bright, and the organisation is busier than ever.
You will be working as part of the Housing Management team and you will be responsible for managing the tenancies and properties in your designated area, in accordance with the Organisation's policies and procedures and contributing to the overall successful performance of the team. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with your colleagues and with the key external stakeholders including the relevant personnel in the Local Authorities.
The successful candidate must have:
- Knowledge of Housing Management best practice.
· Demonstrable experience of property and housing management
· An excellent working knowledge of Housing Regulation
· Experience of working as a housing officer
· Knowledge of leaseholds and tenancy agreements within social housing
