Helpdesk Engineer (level 2)

Job Overview

My client is currently seeking a Helpdesk Support Engineer to be part of a leading provider of specialist IT Network Solutions, telephone systems and IT support services throughout Ireland. Their company is based in the Waterford area.

Required:

  • 2+ Years working within a similar environment or as a service engineer / technician
  • Experience working on customer sites and networks or helpdesk position
  • Good customer facing skills
  • Good technical and diagnostic skills
  • Microsoft certification an advantage
  • Server hardware and software skills
  • Solid understanding of Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Small Business Server 2011, Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016
  • Virtualisation knowledge an advantage
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communicator
