My client are a medium sized well established food ingredients company based in the South East. Currently working with some of the largest retail multiples in the UK their business continues to go from strength to strength.
YOUR NEW GRADUATE QA SPECIALIST JOB
The graduate QA role has come about due to an internal promotion on the Technical team and in this role you will be part of the QA team of 4 that has responsibility for the day-to-day monitoring of the production process.
Day to day some of your main duties will include
- Implementation and maintenance of BRC, HACCP and GMP systems
- Monitoring and reporting of quality standards cleaning & engineering requirements
- Implement, monitor and review corrective actions
- Monitoring of the production process in line with factory HACCP & SOPs
- Raw materials inspection & Supplier monitoring
- Traceability compliance
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
This role will suit a recent graduate with a relevant third level qualification in Food Science or similar and some prior experience in a QA role in the food sector either as a co-op/intern or since graduation would be very beneficial.
WHAT THIS ROLE CAN OFFER YOU
My client is offering a salary of €30k+ doe and are bringing in a pension scheme in 2023. This is a shift role (days 6am-2pm & evenings 2pm-10pm alternating weekly) and there is loads of scope to grow your career in the QA dept or alternately in production, NPD etc depending on where you would like to see your career go long term.
As my client is a medium sized company you will get the opportunity to wear several different hats and get more exposure that you might get in a larger multi-national type of organisation. The company works with some very large retail companies in the UK so you'll also get the experience of working with some very well-known brand names and there is a flat management structure where you will be encouraged to bring your ideas and suggestions to the table.
