Grade VII Finance Officer (Mullingar)

Job Overview

I'm currently recruiting for Grade VII Finance Officer based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

The Role:

  • Implementation of Balance Sheet Reporting
  • To prepare, analyse and deliver monthly projection
  • Budget management and tracking
  • To perform monthly reporting, analysis and interpretation of monthly financial results.
  • Prepare monthly commentary on results.
  • To prepare, analyse and deliver monthly projection
  • Provide the Finance Manager with required monthly reports in relation to the performance
  • Investigate and report on significant issues driving the financial performance
  • Participate in developing financial information in relation to planned service developments
  • To provide cross cover for other personnel within finance department and undertake a full range of duties to include general administration.
  • Engage fully with all stakeholders impacted by the new funding model.
  • Develop a clear understanding of what is driving costs.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience of working in a finance role
  • Significant experience of costing and budgeting.
  • Significant experience in completing regular monthly management or financial accounts and finance reporting including achievement of monthly and yearly deadlines with multiple stakeholders.
  • Significant experience of data analysis, variance analysis and the preparation of reconciliations and finance reports within strict and tight timelines as relevant to the role.
  • Experienced and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications including advanced competency in Excel.
  • Access to own transport as post may involve occasional travel to other locations.

This is a full time position on month to month basis.
