General Practitioner / Medical Officer
Job Overview
The Medical Officer, (a General Practitioner (GP)) is an appropriately qualified and registered medical professional with knowledge and skills to provide personal and comprehensive primary care medical services to our residents. As part Clinical/Medical team they are responsible for providing patient-centred and individual holistic care to our clients patients.
The scope of the role is a mix of a number of high-level responsibilities coupled with the important ongoing and regular treatment and care of the residents.

- Medical Emergencies
- Medical Admissions
- Health Assessments to comply with the Mental Health Commission Regulation 19, General Health and Codes of Practice on restraint
- Chronic Care / Routine and Scheduled Care
On-going Treatment and Care
Routine Medication Review
- Routine ward rounds
- Care Planning Meetings
- Family Meeting
- Committee Meetings
- Governance - Regulation Audits, Policies.

Candidates require
General registration with the Medical Council
At least 5 years working as a Doctor
