Front of House Receptionist

A new contract has become available in Bray, Co. Wicklow. The successful candidate will need to be available to commit to a 6/7 month contract and will be a strong Receptionist/Front of House candidate with administration capabilities.

Whilst this role will be mainly front of house, and therefore suit someone who very much enjoys dealing with people, there are also administrative duties and you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the FOH function.

On a typical day you will be involved in all of the following :

  • Receptionist duties - answering the phone, transferring calls and messages, greeting visitors, managing deliveries and mail, arranging couriers and other ad hoc tasks.
  • Maintaining the Reception area and Meeting Rooms to a high standard for welcoming visitors
  • Coordination of meeting rooms
  • Ordering and control of stationary requirements
  • Facilities - liaising with cleaning and security contractors
  • Administration with regards the Garda Vetting process
  • Provision of administrative support to the Headmaster and other school staff
  • Assist with an be involved in the organisation of school events and staff functions
  • Data entry - VS Ware, Microsoft Excel and Access.

For this role, you should have 4 years experience working in a similar administrative role, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Dictaphone Typing skills are an advantage, and given it is a Front of House role, you will be professionally presented. I.T literacy is a given, and you will be very comfortable with MS Office packages.

This is a great opportunity with the standard day being 08.30 to 5.30 in a friendly and collaborative school setting. The contract is for a minimum of 6 months, with a possible extension to 7 months. The salary on offer is €30 - €34k.
