Job Overview

My client, one of the Big 4, is looking to permanently hire a Sr Consultant for their Financial Services Risk Management team. The job would be hybrid based in Dublin.

Financial Services Risk Management professionals help all C-suites, board members, and the lines of defense in identifying, managing and monitor their risks. The team focus on assisting both domestic and international clients, with delivery of risk transformation services to provide technical insights and support the organisational design and embedding of processes aligned to regulatory expectations.

You will manage diverse Risk & Regulatory driven Programmes focused on Regulatory Compliance (Prudential, Conduct etc.) Risk Transformation, Credit Risk, Financial Crime, Quantitative Advisory Services, Internal Audit, Recovery and Resolution, ESG, and many more.

As a Senior Consultant, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Work with clients to meet regulatory and compliance obligations
  • Build relationships with all levels of client management including C-Suite level
  • Develop understanding of our solutions, tools, and assets, while sharing knowledge and drawing on subject matter specialists accordingly
  • Ensuring Service Quality best practices and standards are delivered on
  • Develop relevant recommendations and solutions to support clients on their regulatory agenda, leveraging tools to improve efficiency and mitigate areas of risk
  • Deliver assignments to a high level of client satisfaction and within agreed timelines and budget

In order to be successful, you will have:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a risk management/regulatory/compliance role, ideally a mix of industry/regulatory and consulting skills
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills and at ease working with multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the European regulatory environment
  • Good teaming and interpersonal skills and capability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Relevant risk management or compliance professional accreditations, professional/legal qualifications and consulting experience an advantage
