Job Overview

Our client is currently looking to recruit for the position of Financial Controller in Virginia Co. Cavan

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of invoices and purchase orders
  • Processing payroll using Thesaurus
  • Preparation of monthly reports, balance sheets and analysis
  • Management of supporting documents
  • Assist in stock take and stock reconciliation process
  • Monitoring and recording all day-to-day financial transactions
  • Managing accounts emails and telephone queries from customers including overdue debtor invoices
  • Assistance in preparation for budgets, audits and end of the month accounts
  • Preparation of returns including VAT, VIES and RCT
  • Assisting financial team in other duties which may arise

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong problem solving skills
  • Strong IT knowledge
  • Ability to work on own initiative under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Flexibility and excellent communication skills

This is a temporary full-time position on week-to-week basis.
