Financial Controller
Job Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Financial Controller to join their well-established team based in Louth.
As a Finance Controller, you will be responsible for all the oversight of the accounting function for a €40m+ organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes and provide ongoing analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
* Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
* Work closely with the owner and other key stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth and profitability.
* Provide financial leadership and guidance to the team, setting clear expectations and goals to ensure their success.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, banks, and vendors.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA
* At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a proven track record of success in managing a team.
* Experience with financial systems and tools, such as ERP systems and Excel.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and critically.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* A proactive and collaborative approach, with a passion for continuous improvement and learning.
