Our client is seeking to hire a strong Hands-on Financial Controller to join their team in. You will have previous experience of working in a busy company dealing with multiple entities.
This is a full-time permanent position based in Portlaois.
A selection of duties are listed below and you will also have management responsibility of a number of staff across three locations.
Taking on the preparation of weekly reports including
* Profit and Loss Accounts
* Sales and Occupancy Rates
* Rolling 4 weekly cashflow forecasting
Assisting with Credit control weekly
Maintaining Debtors, Creditors and Nominal ledgers
Vat and Paye/ PRSI returns
Maintaining bank reconciliations , control accounts
Preparation on Monthly accounts for both sites
Monitoring and helping with control of stocks, invoicing, wages and salaries
Maintaining capital expenditure program details
Dealing with various bodies such as Auditors, County Council, Revenue etc
Cost reduction and control monitoring
Wages are prepared by an outsite bureau and all employees are on fingerprint clocking system, the FC will be required supervise both
Tender analysis of electricity contracts and monitoring electricity usage
Tender analysis of insurance renewals and compliance supervision
