Job Overview

Our client based in Clare is seeking to appoint a skilled Qualified Accountant to their team for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a strong varied position that will give you exposure to US, EMEA and Middle East functions.

The contract is offered with excellent immediate benefits including Family Health Insurance, Pension and more.
There is a hybrid position in place with the position also.


Main Responsibilities:

Preparation of subsidiary accounts (journals, payroll, reporting packs)
Accruals maintenance
Liaising with internal/external auditors
Business unit reporting
Assisting with the budget to actual review monthly
Preparation of monthly payroll for Irish organisations and subsidiaries
Management of the consultant's payment run
Management of the expense software
Assisting with the annual budget preparation
Goods receipts in matching throughout the month

Fully Qualified Accountant
Sarbanes Oxley knowledge is essential as you will be the main point of contact for all controls being set and audited
Exposure to Irish and US GAAP.
Previous Payroll experience with knowledge of Sage Micro pay payroll software is an advantage.
Knowledge of Great Plains (advantageous) / previous experience working with different accounting packages.
