Our client - A Galway based expanding business is currently seeking to hire a Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This position will report directly to the CFO and have a strategic position within the company.
This is an exciting time to join this company with operations now across a number of European countries and the US. You will be a leader with a focus on building and maintaining an excellent finance team. You will be an advocate of change and can deal with a rapidly growing organisation.
Previous people manager skills are essential as you will hold full responsibility for a team of 6. Provide leadership in the development of the finance team through coaching and training, development of clear career paths, performance management and mentoring.
Management of all finance functions within the business up to Business Partnering.
General Duties will include:
People Development & Management
Responsibility for management of statutory audit and preparation of statutory accounts.
Monthly and quarterly information requirements for shareholders and banks
Responsibility for cash forecasting and cash flow management.
Oversee periodic forecasting and the annual planning process.
Lead the finance team to ensure delivery to the business of Management and preparation of monthly reporting of results across multiple projects, including budgets, forecasts, and adherence to investment plans and review performance to enable robust reporting of variances to the key stakeholders.
Provide insightful, commercially focused commentary and advice on group performance.
Ensure compliance with best governance practice and adherence to regulations.
Drive efficiency within the finance function through the utilisation
Requirements for the role:
Professional Qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
Proven record of working to Business Partner level
Business and performance focused.
Highly analytical with proven commercial acumen.
