Finance Manager

Job Overview

Our client is seeking to hire a join Finance Manager who would also be responsible for the running of the office including overseeing payroll, operations and recruitment for a permanent based in Kindare.

This is a senior position which would required someone with good reporting experience as well as strong accounting. This role will have direct responsibility
for month end closing, monthly bank recs, payment runs as well as all the responsibilities of running a busy office.

Below is a more detailed view but if you have the skills to run a stand alone accounting position while also managing a team of 6.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, and review of sub-ledger and preparation of GL
Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
Lodgements to the bank
Processing payment runs
Reconciliation of direct debits and finance accounts
Prepare audit packs for auditors
Prepare monthly financial reporting package
Oversee payroll including coordination with service providers
Office Management
Complete other tasks and administrative duties as requested.

The Ideal Candidate:Desired Skills and Background:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
Accounting Technician qualification ideally
Must have Sage Line 50 and Sage Micro-pay experience
Excellent organisational & time management skills
