The Company/Opportunity:

My client has been in operation for over 16 years and specialise in providing a highly innovative & cost effective eco-friendly cleaning technology and solutions to a huge variety of companies across the power gen, pharma, food & beverage, med device and semi-conductor sectors.

The Field Service Technician / Warehouse Co-Ordinator job will see you split your time supporting the Field Operations Team Lead as your travel between client sites across Ireland and spending the rest of your time at my client's premises in East Cork co-ordinating activates in the warehouse.

Flexibility is a MUST for this job with extensive travel, commitment & dedication required & weekend work & unsociable hours will be required from time to time.

The Role:

You will travel extensively around Ireland (with some travel to UK occasionally) and some of the key elements of this exciting and varied role will include:

* Prepare, including loading and unloading, all plant & equipment for each project


* Operate Blasting equipment (full training will be provided) to clean customer equipment & components as per the scope of work set out


* Pre / post job preparation for all plant & equipment including loading / unloading & refuelling of compressors etc, maintaining, cleaning & sorting all blasting plant & equipment as and when required.


* Drive to and from customer sites based across the island of Ireland (North & South) and the UK.


*Set up & operation of blasting equipment in line with company safe operating procedure as and when required while onsite.


*Coordinate essential repairs, maintenance & servicing of truck & mobile compressors as well as all blasting equipment in line with standard operating procedures.


*Perform daily / monthly maintenance routines on dry ice blasting plant & equipment

The Fit:

This is a challenging role and ideally you will have a mechanical/technical aptitude (qualification not a pre-requisite) along with high energy levels.

My client is looking for:


Work experience in relevant industries and a willingness to pitch in wherever your skills are needed.

Candidates with a full clean B driver license (experience driving large commercial van and / or towing a trailer is an advantage (BE Licence)) with a current safe pass & manual handling cert.

Excellent organisational & communications skills, great attention to detail (a background of working with process and production equipment would be highly beneficial)
