Currently recruiting a Field Service for the North Dublin region.


YOUR NEW JOB

Reporting to the Service Manager as Field Service Technician you will work as part of a Regional Service team focusing on your own specific region of Dublin North.

Day to day some of the key elements of the Field Service Technician job will include

  • To provide breakdown and preventative maintenance services to Transport and Standard Industrial Weighing products and systems at a variety of sites.

  • To calibrate individual Industrial and Transport products and systems at customer premises.

  • To maintain accurate records so that the Business may determine contract profitability and engineer productivity.

  • To be responsible for the accurate management of spare parts stock to ensure a high level of first time fix.

  • To ensure stock is kept safe and secure as part of this process to physically quality check equipment used to carry role out.

  • To identify and sign up new business and chargeable work while out in the field in order to make an individual contribution to the financial performance of the Business.

  • To participate in an
    on call rota for evening and weekend cover (typically one week in three) and also to be available to participate in planned overtime working for out of hours installations and upgrades.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
You will hold a full clean driver's license, have strong customer service skills and be 'technical' enough to grasp and absorb the comprehensive training and development program that you commence when you start in the Field Service Technician job. You'll come from either a mechanical or electrical background and ideally have 2 years+ experience in a technical/service role.
During the interview process you will take part in a practical assessment which involves using a multi meter, screw driver and wire cutters. The assessment will consist of testing equipment and recording of the results in a prepared spreadsheet on laptop abd this part of the interview takes about 1 hour
