Job Overview:
This is an opportunity to work in the centre of Galway City for, a Facilities Management company based in the UK & Ireland. You will be based in the offices of a Major Client in the Insurance Industry. The company provides services such as Front of house support, catering, cleaning, and maintenance to their clients.

Responsibilities include:
Some details of the duties to be undertaken
o Setup of AV equipment & meeting rooms (Boardroom, Theatre Style, etc.)
o First responder to any internal building issues eg Staff are too hot, too cold, lighting, power etc
o Liaising with internal EA's of senior staff and they're requests.
o Accompanying specialist contractors on site.
o Inputting job requests on internal system and closing out on completion.
o Distributing internal post across floors
o Distributing milk across floors
o Updates sent to line manager as per internal process
The client is very demanding so this position is not for the faint-hearted so they would need to be experienced.

This is a very hands-on, client-facing role based in an extremely corporate environment
You will be setting up meeting rooms for anything up to about 60 / 70 delegates (also small meetings) - meeting rooms may be required at very short notice
Setting up AV meeting rooms in different styles, e.g. boardroom, theatre, etc. - so this person will be moving AV equipment & furniture (tables, chairs, TVs, projectors, etc.)
Greeting and escorting visitors around the building
Sorting and distributing post
Ensure all fridges on all floors are fully stocked with milk
Dealing with maintenance job requests, e.g. if someone from the 1st floor calls to say they are too hot or too cold, this person will log the job request, call the relevant air conditioning or heating specialist, greet the contractor, give pass, escort them to the relevant location, ensure the job is completed, log all info, etc.


The candidate most importantly must have the following skills.
* High standard in personable skills to work within the corporate environment
* Must be flexible and available to work out of hours when required, this is paid overtime
* Mechanical or Electrical background ideally
* Knowledge of Audio Visual
* Excellent time keeper
* The ability to follow directions and protocol and work as part of a team
