Job Overview

I am currently working with a leading Public sector Body to help them recruit for an Enterprise Architect. As Enterprise Architect you will

  • Work closely with Lead Enterprise Architect and Chief Technical Officer
  • Develop and coordinate Architecture Plans working
  • closely with PMO Business Analysts to produce as-is and to be models

What will my day to day duies be:

  • Creation, Update, and maintenance of the key EA deliverables and artefacts
  • Ensure project compliance with Principles and Standards
  • Establish and grow relationships with key stakeholders in business units to fully understand business activities and drivers
  • Definition, implementation, and execution of the processes for the definition, maintenance, and conformance management of the EA
  • Definition and development of relevant reference architectures
  • Architectural leadership in the resolution of inter-program and inter-project issues, to ensure that best practice is always implemented
  • Continuing promotion of the EA function in the wider organisation
  • Identification of EA opportunities across the organisation
  • Develop and maintain architectural roadmaps
  • Liaising with third parties

The Enterprise Architect will play a key role in the CTO department and hence will have the following key skills:

  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal (presentations, seminars)
  • Group session facilitation - ability to lead a large group session
  • Team leadership
  • Ability to explain complex issues in general terms to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to work as part of a team with solution architects, business analysts, CTO, CIO and other CxO colleagues
  • DevOps, DataOps experience
