If you are interested in moving into a roll where you will be managing the status quo and doing the same old same old, then this is NOT the role for you. My client is on an operation transformation journey and are looking to secure an engineering maintenance manager with 3-5 years experience to lead up the engineering function of the site. You will be working to aid in the implementation plan to transition the site to a state of the art automated facility. You will be part of cross functional teams and enjoy working in fast paced environments where development and growth are key.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to the Factory Manager/Production Director

Key Duties:
· Responsible for the plant and to ensure all equipment is maintained to allow all manufacturing functions to comply with agreed procedures and quality standards
· To oversee all quality related problems in the operation of plant and equipment is logged, investigated and rectified
· Participation in HACCP and ensure implementation of control measures
· Ensure inspection and maintenance of plant and equipment is carried out regularly
· Leading performance management and training requirements for all of the maintenance personnel
· Ensure all preventative procedures are carried out according to plan
· Ensuring that adequate cover is provided throughout the Factory
· To oversee the control of the (CMMS) computerised maintenance management system.
· Responsible for the maintenance budget and departmental KPI's
· Working closely with department heads on improvements
· To manage and forecast future maintenance projects in relation to factory capacity and optimising the site and all new machinery.
· Responsibility for CAPEX.

Skills and knowledge:
· Main skills in Electrical/ Mechanical bias with proven background in these areas
· Multi-skilled/ cross-skilled ethos
· Aptitude for process awareness, diagnostic/ trouble-shooting and resolution experience gained in a Hi-volume environment
· Maintain manufacturing equipment within an automated site and sound understanding of modern maintenance roles

· Excellent Communicator with strong interpersonal skills
· Highly motivated and organised with the ability to perform well in a production environment
· Lead performance of a team with multiskilling and apprenticeships programmes
Open and Honest with the ability to deal with all people with the highest level of integrity
