Electronic Design Engineer
Our client is involved in the development of pioneering medical devices and are currently going through an exciting period of development involving two new product introductions.
Reporting to the Principle Engineer the electronic design engineer is a key role in the organisation
and will your job will primarily revolve around the design and verification of technical solutions to enhance product and process capability focused on electronic & electrical engineering.

The position is based in state of the art facilities just a few kilometres from Dublin Airport and the site is well serviced by public transport.
As Electronic Engineer you will hold a level 8 degree in electrical/electronic engineering/computer science or equivalent with 5 years electrical design engineering experience.
You will enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have a strong electrical / electronic engineering background with a proven record in the design / redesign of equipment.
A background in both analog and digital along with the ability to understand down to a component level to the electronic workings of a system is key for electronic design engineer job along with experience in real time systems, signal processing, bus systems and protocols (CAN / RS485).
To hit the ground running in this exciting & progressive role you will also need a strong understanding of Electrical regulatory requirements required (IEC, LVD, Machinery Directive etc.) along with comprehensive understanding of computer architecture.
