Job Overview
Job title: Director of Nursing / DON / Person in Charge
Location: located on the outskirts of Limerick city, easily commutable to from Co. Clare.
Type of job: permanent, full time, days only, on call duty in rotation
Your Responsibilities:
As a Director of Nursing / Person in Charge, you will ensure high quality care for all residents in a purpose built, privately owned nursing facility. This large care facility provides a wide range of specialist services such as long term care, rehabilitative care, short Term (Convalescent care), respite Care and Palliative Care.
Your profile:
You will have a third level Nursing qualification essential
You will be actively registered with NMBI
Third level Management qualifications essential
Minimum 3 years experience in elderly care within the previous 6 years of your career
Minimum 3 years experience in management position
Desired Skills and Experience
Ideally you will also have good people management experience.
You will be of good character, enjoy a challenge and take pride in achieved results
Strong IT skills
Remuneration package:
