If so, I have a fantastic opportunity for you!
My client, a well established rehabilitation unit in Tipperary, is seeking a Dietitian on a part time temporary basis. The vast majority of service users discharge to home with a small number requiring long term care on discharge. The position we hope to fill is for 2 sessions per week on an ongoing basis.
Duties:
- Dietitian would play a key function in overall assessment, treatment and education, to ensure the delivery of nutritional care that is evidence based specific to the older person and promotes optimum care and outcomes.
- Develop, implement and monitor a plan of care, based on assessment of the service users' nutritional needs.
- Prioritise and manage a client caseload according to the needs of the service.
Essential Requirements:
- A Recognised Qualification in Dietetics
- Be registered as a Dietitian by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU.
- Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
- Full drivers licence and own vehicle.
