A leading Irish Development Firm are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the position of Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced within the Irish market with a specific focus on residential and commercial works.
This role will include;
- Commercial Management of a number of projects
- Supervision of junior quantity surveying staff
- Relaying information to the financial team
- Liaising with the client and investment team
- Ensuring the projects are delivered on time
- Provide representation for the firm in relation to all financial decisions
- Act as a key communicator between sub-contractors and clients alike
- Management of all key stages in projects
This role is best suited to;
- An experienced quantity surveyor
- 10-15 years experience plus
- Degree qualified as a quantity surveyor
- Ideally has worked on large scale residential works
- Preferably experience within the Irish market
- Located in Dublin or happy to commute to sites in south and north county Dublin on demand
- Happy to work on site 1-2 days per week
- Able to work independently
- Key communicator
- Expert market knowledge of contractors, sub-contractors and specialist contractors
- Key relationship builder
- Not shy of a challenge
- IT Savvy
