Duties and Responsibilities

· Evaluate internal systems and processes for efficiencies, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.

· Acquire, update, maintain and process market data using various internal systems and proprietary company software

· Sourcing, cleansing and verifying data

· Analyse data and investigate queries from business

· Design, spec and build new data models as required, ensuring that the new models can support high performance and high reliability

· Creating and running reports that provide insight into ongoing company performance

· Providing analysis and presentation of data, reports dashboards to key stakeholders

· Participate in projects and collaborate with your global colleagues to deliver new initiatives

· Liaise with IT teams to enhance relevant products

· Develop strong relationships with departments to provide subject matter expertise by quickly and accurately answering inquiries

· Automating processes within the team to improve efficiency

· Prepare process documentation.

· Any other non-routine tasks as required

· Work closely with stakeholders to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.

· Proactively analyse data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

· A primary degree in Mathematics, Statistics or numerical related discipline.

· Strong analytical skills with the enthusiasm to learn the inner workings of multiple large complex systems.

· Ability to think critically and demonstrate examples of improving or developing processes.

· Highly technical with strong VBA, SQL, R, advanced Excel.

· Working knowledge of Power BI or another visualization tool.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

· Fluency in English.
