Analytics Engineer

Do you have a passion for analytics and a knack for problem-solving? Are you looking to work with a fast-paced, innovative team?

We're looking for a talented Analytics Engineer to join and help build out the wider analytic function for our client in Dublin City. You'll be responsible for reasoning, transforming, and processing large datasets, as well as building visualisations on Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in analytics, data modelling, and experience from a similar role in financial services.

As part of your role, you'll be creating data models, ETL processes, and working closely with different engineering and data departments. As such, you should have an understanding of SQL, DAX, and other analytical, modelling, and visualisation tools.

Responsibilities:
* Analysing data using sophisticated computation, statistical and machine learning algorithms
* Building visualisations, graphs and dashboards using Power BI
* Creating data models, ETL pipelines and processes
* Working closely with the rest of the engineering and data departments
* Presenting findings to stakeholders including senior and executive leadership

Requirements:
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
* Proficiency with analytical, modelling, and visualisation tools (Power BI preferred)
* Extensive knowledge of SQL
* Knowledge and experience with DAX is highly desirable
