Covid 19 Vaccination - Grade 8 Managers - Midlands

Job Overview

In partnership with the HSE I am looking for Grade 8 Managers / Supervisors / Administrators to join the Covid 19 Vaccination Roll-out for the following locations:

• Tullamore, Co. Offaly
• Athlone, Co. Westmeath

THE ROLE:

• The position of Grade VII encompasses both managerial and administrative responsibilities
• Make decisions and solve problems in a timely manner and inform others of decisions that have implications for them, making sure team knows how to action them
• Responsible for supervising HSE Staff members, ensuring smooth running of the vaccination clinics and traffic control
• Ensure smooth running of the Covid 19 Vaccination Roll-Out
• Provide administration support when needed
• Responsible for stock control of vaccinations, PPE gear and admin supplies.
• Responsible for HR admin, rosters, timesheets etc
• Manage the performance of staff, dealing with under performance in a timely and constructive manner
• Proactively identify inequities / inefficiencies in service administration and implement solutions to improve service delivery, in line with legislation and bench-marking against best practice structures
• Promote and maintain a customer focused environment by ensuring service users are treated with dignity and respect
• Working hours: 37 hours per week worked over 7 days - 12 hour shifts will apply

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous Managerial / HR / Supervisory experience is essential
• Excellent MS Office skills to include, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent planning, organising and coordination skills required
• Effective verbal communication skills, delivering complex information clearly, concisely and confidently
• The ability to successfully manage a range of different projects and work activities
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
• The ability to quickly grasp and understand complex issues and the impact on service delivery
• Immediately available
