Counter Sales (Agri/Hardware)

Job Overview

FRS Recruitment is now inviting applications for the role of 'Counter Sales' on behalf of our client, a leading Agri, Hardware supplies organisation based in Co. Louth. This is a full time permanent role.

Role
* Build effective working relationships with customers, in order to understand their
requirements thus ensuring that the correct products are supplied
* Use initiative to identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions to customers,
thus maximising profitable sales and margin
* Achieve Sales & margin targets
* Ensure that company policies are followed at all times when producing paperwork
associated with sales
* Responsible for the re-order of selected product lines and also ensuring that stock levels of selected product lines within the relevant department
* Liaise with suppliers where necessary Support the Manager and colleagues in working as a team to ensure the business operates efficiently and effectively within company policy
* Perform any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the
company

Candidate Profile
* Previous experience working in a busy Hardware or Agri Store would be an advantage
* A strong knowledge of Agri supplies would be an advantage
* A proven track record of achieving and exceeding both sales and margin targets
* Effective team working
* Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* The flexibility and willingness to learn
* To enjoy working with people
* Dynamic, motivated & driven to achieve targets
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
