Consultant Psychiatrist
FRS Recruitment are pleased to be working in partnership with the Health Service Executive in Ireland to source a number of Consultant Psychiatrists to join the Mental Health Service in North West Ireland.
As one of Ireland's most scenic and beautiful locations, this position will appeal to anyone looking for an idyllic Irish destination. Offering excellent beaches, sports, schools, shops and access to three international airports. This is an ideal destination for Doctors moving to Ireland.
Recent increases in investment in the mental health services have created a number of new opportunities and we have a number of roles with contract ranging from 6 to 12 months with the opportunity to take up a further permanent role in time.
Most roles are seeking Psychiatrists with General Adult Psychiatry experience but there are also opportunities in Psychiatry of Old Age, Rehabilitation Psychiatry, Liaison Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Generous salary ranges from €140,000 to €190,000 depending on experience as well as on call allowance of €4,000 and €3,000 continuing medical education allowance.
A relocation package is also on offer for Psychiatrists moving to Ireland to take up one of these positions, the package includes:
- Flights up to €800 (€200 within EU)
- Accommodation for the first 28 days
- Paid work permit and visa
- Reimbursement of the cost of initial registration with the Irish Medical Council.
Eligibility:
In order to be considered for this role you will need:
- Experience working as a Consultant Psychiatrist
- Eligibility to register with the Irish Medical Council (specialist registration preferred but general registration will be considered)
- Excellent English language communication skills with preference for OET or IELTS evidence
- Willing to locate to Ireland full time for 6 months or longer.
