Compliance Manager

Job Overview

I am currently recruiting for a Compliance Manager for a client based in Dublin City Centre. You will be work as a Senior Member of the Group Compliance Function and participate in the strategic management of the function and its activities. The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years' of Compliance experience, Healthcare experience would be advantageous. You will be able to work and contribute as part of a team.

It is 1 day a week working in the office.


  • Have oversight of, and provide strategic commercially focused compliance advice, to senior management and functions, on a broad range of compliance activities including policies, procedures, written standards risks, risk minimisation strategies, actual and potential compliance-related issues, continuous improvement opportunities and corrective actions.
  • Subject matter expert for all business queries, working with colleagues to mitigate risks facing the business in its internal and external interactions
  • Conduct risk analysis on healthcare compliance, identify areas of compliance risk, create and implement solutions to eliminate potential risks.
  • Be informed of current legislation/regulation and enforcement issues affecting the healthcare industry, as well as compliance best practices.
  • Carry out due diligence on new healthcare initiatives.
  • Work with the business to ensure the Compliance Framework and associated activities are in line with compliance risk appetite.
  • Prepare and present governance reporting at Board Committees and Leadership Team Forums, including, MI and dashboards both internally and externally including key performance indicators to demonstrate Compliance effectiveness.


  • At least 7-8 years' of compliance experience, ideally in the healthcare compliance industry.
  • Professional qualification (ACOI or other relevant discipline) is desirable.
  • Proven experience as a subject matter expert in managing compliance with strong knowledge in all applicable regulations and compliance risks relevant to an organisation operating in a regulated environment
  • Solid understanding of compliance principles and frameworks.
  • Experience and ability to initiate, develop, maintain and review policies and procedures for the operation of a healthcare compliance program.
