Commercial Account Manager - Dairy Products (N.West Cork)
This is an Internal Role, responsible for developing and executing effective strategies to expand the customer base within Food Service & Retail, increase market share, maximize revenue, and manage the overall commercial performance of these dairy product lines. Your role will involve building strong relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities, and managing the overall commercial performance of these product lines.
- Create comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets for Food Service and Branded Retail sectors respectively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, including hotel chains, prisons, hospitals, and distributors.
- Provide excellent customer service, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and engaging with potential customers, distributors, and retailers.
- Develop compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure new accounts to expand our market presence.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
- Work closely with the marketing, production, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on product positioning, availability, and promotional activities.
- Provide input on product development, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, including revenue, margins, and market share.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in a commercial/sales role within the food industry, preferably in dairy o
- Experience in both food service and retail sectors is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret market data and customer insights.
