My client is a market leader in providing claims handling services, assistance services and speciality risk products. They are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, team driven individual to join their claims department as a Warranty Claims Administrator.


  • Support Sales and Claims functions in regard to system administration, documentation, invoicing and reporting requirements.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the Consumer Protection Code, Minimum Competency Code, General Data Protection Regulation and Insurance Distribution Regulation
  • Where required and/or as instructed by the sales team;

o create and maintain accurate policy records on our systems

o issue documentation

o collect payment from motor dealers or directly from customers

  • Handle incoming sales, claims and customer service enquiries from motor dealers and customers relating to our motor warranty or specialty risks products
  • Process requests for policy amendment and cancellation, and liaise with accounts dept. on payment
  • Following up on outstanding invoices in respect of repairs completed
  • Manage return correspondences from incorrect email/postal addresses
  • Ensure all claim payments are processed within 10 working days of invoice submission
  • Completing all administrative and filing duties
  • Positively contribute to the team's effectiveness, continuous improvement and overall success
  • This list is not exhaustive and some duties may fall outside this scope


  • Successful candidate must be willing to achieve or working towards APA qualification
  • Minimum of 1 years' claims/administration experience preferable
  • Ability to use their own initiative and make good decision when under pressure in the best interests of both the customer and business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good planning and organisation skills in order to meet timescales
  • Good numerical skills and literacy skills including Microsoft Office suite
  • Technical knowledge of typical insurance products a distinct advantage
