Job Title: Chemistry Lab Analyst

We are workign with a leading biopharma company with a global presence in County Cork. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Chemistry Lab Analyst to join our clients team at their state-of-the-art laboratory facility.

Job Summary:

The Chemistry Lab Analyst will be responsible for conducting analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting method development, validation, and verification, troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment, and generating reports and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and non-routine analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using a variety of analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, IR, UV-Vis, and wet chemistry techniques.
  • Conduct method development, validation, and verification for new and existing products and methods.
  • Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure reliable and accurate results.
  • Analyze and interpret data, and generate reports and documentation to support product development, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory records, including sample logs, analytical results, and method development reports.
  • Participate in laboratory safety programs and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field with 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Experience in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, IR, UV-Vis, and wet chemistry techniques.
  • Experience in method development, validation, and verification.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret data accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience working with chemical manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and other regulatory requirements is preferred.
