Cash Controller - Part Time - Maternity Contract - Dublin South
FRS Recruitment have an exciting part time opportunity to work as a cash controller within retail. This role is based in the head office of a fantastic company with 36 branches nationwide.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyse variances on all tills
- Analysis of retail store cash controls implementation across 36 stores
- Liaising with all store managers regarding discrepancies
- Ownership of cash postings from tills to safes to lodgements to bank reconciliations
- Take ownership of validating store safes, tills, lodgements
- Investigate and variances on a daily basis
- Reconciliation of coins ordered
- Daily inspections of cash related reports
- Report to regional managers on a daily/weekly basis on any issues regarding cash controls
- Handle all queries from stores on issues regarding cash up process
- Card machine reconciliations
- Gift card reconciliations
- Petty cash process
- Main point of contact for auditors regarding cash and bank process
- Ad-hoc duties
What We Require From You:
- Previous experience of bank reconciliations and cash management in a retail environment
- Process driven
- IT competency
- Experience reporting findings to management within finance
- Problem solving skills
