THE ROLE:

In the Buyer role your main remit is to buy the products/services required by my client with the most favourable terms and conditions while liaising closely with the various stakeholders and departments to determine needs

You will be and develop strong and long lasting business relationships with vendors

Here are some of the key elements of the role to get your attention and a full job spec is available on application

*Support the business with on-schedule procurement of mechanical & electrical components/services

*Work with Suppliers to assure the best combination of price, quality and lead time is delivered on all purchases including negotiation of pricing, delivery and payment terms, as well as cancellation/return/warranty policies.

*Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure required performance (on-time delivery, quality, competitive pricing) is achieved and continuously improved.

To secure the job, the successful candidate will have the following:

  • Relevant Level 7 qualification 3 years + buying/procurement experience
  • Willingness and ability to learn at a challenging pace and in a changing environment.

Eligibility to work in the EU is essential
