Business Operations Manager

A market leading Irish organisation are looking to hire a driven Business Operations Manager ideally with experience in warehouse, distribution or manufacturing sectors. This role will provide the right candidate with great career progression into a general managers position.

Duties:

  • Lead a team to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Drive a positive work culture with a focus on continuous improvement, encouraging cross-functional collaboration to drive business effectiveness.
  • Employee Management - Managing KPIs, performance reviews and motivating staff.
  • Managing turnaround times
  • Supplier and Stock Management - Pricing, ordering, logistics, fault resolution and reordering levels.
  • Carry out operational systems reviews and improvements.
  • Assessing and improving customer satisfaction and service delivery process.
  • Employee learning and development planning
  • Responsible for Health and Safety
  • Preparation of documentation for tenders, credit accounts, method statements
  • Managing prompt and accurate payment of supplier and customer invoices.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Business Operations Manager or in a similar role.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • A natural customer centric person
  • Strong knowledge of operations management.
  • Systematic with a focus on process improvement and change management.
  • Proven people management skills, implementing culture and driving performance.
  • High level of organisation and forward planning
  • Analytical in approach and systematic way of working
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
