About the Business Development Manager

As the Business Development Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Analysis of the client's activities and requirements in order to provide them with the best possible solution, allowing them to achieve commercial growth and success
  • Continuous development of your industry knowledge and client's outsourcing strategies which will allow you to set objectives together with the clients and maximise opportunities for growth
  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of on time, high quality proposals that present the optimum solution for clients whilst ensuring on or above plan profitability
  • Regular face to face meeting with clients to ensure their requirements are being met and further opportunities for partnership are identified

About You

  • Ambitious, self-motivated sales professional with a strong understanding of the bio/pharmaceutical/medical device industry on an international/domestic level
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within a successful sales focussed role within the pharmaceutical/medical device industry
  • Previous experience in a technical role within bio/pharmaceutical/medical device industry would be an advantage
  • International market exposure is an advantage
  • 3rd level qualification in a scientific field is an essential element
  • Strong commercial awareness with a good technical understanding
  • Must be happy to travel regularly on both a domestic and international level
