Business Development Executive

Are you a dynamic and driven Sales Professional? Looking to land a challenging but rewarding Business Development position? My client is looking to add a Business Development Executive to their team, based in Waterford.

The Role:

  • Cultivate new business partnerships
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained
  • Grow existing relationships and up/cross sell where possible
  • Develop individual, localised sales strategies
  • Drive the sales function and strive to exceed sales targets
  • Liaise with the Marketing and Business Unit Managers to expand and evolve the brand
  • Represent the company at trade shows throughout the year and be willing to travel abroad to attend these show
  • Identify and act on possible new avenues for the business

The Candidate:

  • A self-starter who can happily work on their own initiative
  • Can multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Ambitious and seeks to foster growth in the business
  • Experienced in the coordination of sales activities
  • Has a track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs
  • Experienced in the use of a named CRM system
  • Has a proven ability to generate and identify new business opportunities
