Business Development Executive: North Dublin

FRS Recruitment has partnered with the Largest Chain of Builders Merchants in the Country who are recruiting an Experienced and Resilient Business Development Executive to develop and implement growth opportunities within existing construction clients and attract new clients. As a Business Development Executive, you will have a proven track record of selling Building Materials/Supplies into the construction industry. As a Business Development Executive, you must have first-hand building materials knowledge with a strong hunter and leadership style with the ability to identify new business within the construction industry.

Business Development Executive: Building Materials

  • Working within a fast-paced construction sales environment, you will achieve sales targets from proactive Business Development
  • Identify and introduce new construction customers achieving growth of customer spend and profitability
  • Produce business development plans for all customers to increase customer loyalty and spend
  • Negotiate, monitor, and manage pricing arrangements with customers, focusing on profitable sales growth and product mix using all available incentives
  • Ensure all opportunities to identify and introduce new customers are used and maximised


  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships within the construction industry
  • Proven track record in Business Development, Target Achievement, and Growth within the construction industry
  • Relevant Construction/Builders Merchant Industry and Product Knowledge - Essential
  • Existing client bank within construction is highly desirable
