Business Development: Civils & Drainage
This role is the development of a clearly identified growth for the Civils & Drainage Product Range. The objective of this role will be to grow civil division sales by supporting the branches and sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site visits with Branch Sales Representatives to win orders, up-skill colleagues on their knowledge of Civils & Draining
  • Plan and implement a Business Development strategy to increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones in their region
  • Responsible for meeting budget and sales target by developing and presenting quotes and proposals
  • Support colleagues in civil quotes by directing them to the appropriate suppliers and giving guidance on price range
  • Tacking large jobs on building information and other lead generation tools through our CRM system
  • Build strong relationships with our colleagues, customers, and suppliers

Knowledge & Experience

* 5 years' experience in the construction sector
* A Civil Engineering qualification or similar would be an advantage but is not essential
* Sound Engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills essential
* Strong communication skills and previous experience with CRM desirable
* Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
* Competent presenting skills
* Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
* Dynamic, motivated & driven to achieve targets
