Looking for the next big opportunity in your professional career? A Basic Grade Psychologist is required for our client based in Dublin. Our client is a specialist service in supporting children and young adults with complex needs as well as their families.

The successful candidate will work for the Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT) and work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provides services to 0-18-year-old children and young people with complex needs. The candidates are also required to work in partnership with families within a family-centred model.

Duties of these positions include:

  • The Psychologist will be responsible for the delivery of a psychology service to children and their families attending the CDNT.
  • To undertake an assessment, therapy, appropriate interventions and preventative programmes in accordance with the professional competence of clinical psychologists.
  • To provide professional reports and information to other professional staff and such other reports as appropriate.
  • To undertake research in clinical psychology and to co-operate in research and evaluation programmes as appropriate
  • Work within limits of professional competence in line with principles of best practice, professional conduct and clinical governance.
  • Undertake Key Worker role as required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a recognised validated qualification in Psychology as recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
  • Relevant experience in working with children with disabilities
  • Qualifications for this position obtained outside of the Republic of Ireland must be validated at the time of application.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in planning, developing, and evaluating services for children with a disability.
  • Experience of providing staff and family training
  • Have a full clean driving license and access to a car

HSE Salary PayScale: €53, 021- €90,771 (Depending on Experience)
