client, requires a Automation Technician to join their team in Galway. This is a permanent job, offering amazing career opportunities.

Reporting to the Automation Engineer, you will manage all electrical and mechanical aspects for the site including working on in-house custom made machinery as well as upgrades and retrofits for existing equipment

Key Responsibilities include:

• Complete electrical wiring of electrical/control systems on equipment
• Complete assembly of mechanical systems including pneumatics
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, completing all aspects of paperwork, ensuring high levels of uptime

Required:

• Automation background, with electrical and mechanical instrumentation.
• Level 6 qualification or equivalent trades in electrical engineering, mechanical, controls and automation.
• Experience in electrical panel writing
